Bihar govt announces 10% reservation: The government of Bihar has proposed 10% reservation for members of the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in the judicial system and state-run law schools. On Tuesday, October 3, the government revealed the initial batch of caste survey data, only one day before the announcement. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting that was presided over by the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, according to several media sources.
According to Additional Chief Secretary (Cabinet Secretariat) S Siddhartha, “the cabinet approved amendments in the rules of the State Judicial Services, 1951 allowing 10% reservation for EWS category in judicial services as well as in state-run law institutes and universities.” He continued by saying that the relevant department would shortly release a thorough notice in this regard.

According to Siddhartha, the state government has authorised the construction of 100 veterinary hospitals. There will be the construction of 100 top-notch veterinary hospitals around the state. In addition, every one of these hospitals will have training facilities. In 17 districts, Rs 225 crore will be used for this, according to Siddhartha.
