Cath-Lab workshop: On November 30, the JNMCH, AMU Department of Cardiology held a cath lab workshop. A lecture and workshop were conducted by eminent cardiologist Prof. Sanjay Chugh of Narayan Hridayalaya, Gurugram, at the event. Prof. Chugh highlighted the benefits of radial access throughout the discussion, pointing out that it can help avoid issues like femoral artery pseudoaneurysm or the development of retroperitoneal hematoma in low and high punctures, respectively. He argued for the daily incorporation of instances via Radial access and proposed that training be rated consistently and progressively.
The chairman, Prof. Asif Hasan, emphasised the significance of radial interventions. Stressing their advantages over the traditional femoral approach, he talked about better clinical results, less blood loss, and shorter hospital stays.
Twelve-week Entrepreneurship Workshop begins at AMU
Drs. Shaad Aqbari, Moaaz Kidwai, and Prof. Malik Azharuddin attended the workshop, which successfully concluded 12 cases, including angioplasties. Professor Asif declared that he planned to host additional cath lab workshops since he thought they would be a beneficial academic experience for DM students.
