IAF AFCAT 2022 Exam begins today, check exam day guidelines here | Competitive Exams

Indian Air Force have started IAF AFCAT 2022 exam from August 26, 2022 onwards. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 02/2022) For Flying Branch And Ground Duty (Technical And Non-Technical) Branches/ NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry For Courses Commencing In July 2023 will be conducted on August 26, 27 and 28, 2022.

It is mandatory for the candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT as well as Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). The examination on all three days will be conducted in two shifts- first shift from 7.30 am and second shift from 12.30 pm.

Check out the exam day guidelines issued by IAF for AFCAT examination below.

1. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre, under any circumstance, after the pre-exam verification process has commenced at 07:30 hrs for shift-I and 12:30 hrs for shift-II.
2. Marking scheme comprises of 3 marks for correct answer and deduction of one mark for incorrect answer. There is no marks for unattempted questions.
3. Items allowed in exam centres- e-Admit Card, candidate’s aadhaar card, valid identity card as PAN card/ passport/ driving licence/ voter identity card/ college identity card, two passport size photo, ball point pen (blur or black).
4. Question paper will be made available to candidates only during the online examination. The request of candidates to provide copies of question paper will not be entertained.
