NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has just released notices for IBPS SO 2023-24 and IBPS PO 2023, which are both calling for applications in order to fill positions for Special Officers and Probationary Officers, respectively. Eligible applicants can register for both tests through the official website, ibps.in, starting today through August 21.

The main exam for IBPS SO 2023 is slated for January of the following year, with the preliminary exam taking place on December 30 or 31. The main test for IBPS PO 2023 is scheduled for November, while the preliminary exam is scheduled for September. I.T. Officer (Scale-I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I), Law Officer (Scale-I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I), and Marketing Officer (Scale-I) are just a few of the 1402 roles that are open for IBPS SO 2023.

For applicants who fall within specified categories, the IBPS has also granted some age relaxations. Candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are eligible for a 5-year age relaxation, while those from Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) are given a 3-year age exemption. Benchmark disabled individuals, as defined by “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016,” are eligible for a 10-year relaxation. Additionally, persons who were impacted by the 1984 riots and ex-servicemen receive a 5-year relaxation.

The registration period for IBPS SO 2023 is open from August 1 to August 21, 2023, and the application cost can also be paid during this time. The preliminary test is slated to take place on December 30 or December 31 of 2023, with the results anticipated in January 2024. On January 28, 2024, the primary exam will be held, and the results will be released in February 2024. The interview and provisional allotment are the next procedures, and they are expected to be finished by April 2024.
