A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between The Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) and Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) by Dr Kamakshi Raman, Executive Director, IICM and H K Sharma, National President, IIMM, for conducting Professional Diploma Course in Contract Management for the executives of Coal India Limited.
Notably, IIMM is an enabler for Materials Management and Supply Chain Management professionals to face global cutting edge competitive challenges. The institute organises executive development programmes, seminars, workshops, customised in house training programmes among others.,
With a view to address the need for enhancing skill and knowledge related to public procurement and contracts, as per the MoU, Professional Diploma Course in Contract Management shall be jointly conducted by IICM and IIMM for the executives of CIL in E-3 to E-6 grades.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is the basic eligibility criteria for these executives. The first course shall be organised in FY 2022-23. Mohit Jain, Manager (System) is to be the Nodal officer from IICM to conduct the diploma course.
