Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can now redeem Avios for Philippine Airlines flights, giving travelers a new and easier way to book award seats to the Philippines and other Asian destinations.
Qatar Avios for Philippine Airlines flights: People who collect Avios now have another useful place to spend them. Qatar Airways Privilege Club has added Philippine Airlines flights as a new redemption option, so members can now book Philippine Airlines-operated flights with Qatar Avios. They says the two airlines are expanding their partnership, and Privilege Club members can now collect and spend Avios on eligible Philippine Airlines flights.
This is a bigger deal than it may sound. Philippine Airlines is not part of a major global airline alliance, so award booking has often been harder than with many other airlines. Qatar Airways says award flights with partner airlines can now be searched and booked online, which makes the process much simpler for travelers who want to go to the Philippines or connect onward inside Asia.
JetBlue And United Expand Blue Sky Partnership With New Elite Travel Benefits
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are already growing their partnership in other ways too. Qatar says that starting 1 June 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha. It will also place its QR code on Philippine Airlines domestic flights, giving travelers easier connections inside the Philippines. The airline also says Privilege Club and Mabuhay Miles are now linked through this expanded partnership.
For Avios users, the best part is that the booking can be done online through Qatar Airways Privilege Club. Qatar’s own “Fly with Avios” page says members can book award flights online with Qatar Airways and its growing list of partner airlines, and its Philippine Airlines partnership page says members can “collect & spend Avios” on eligible Philippine Airlines flights.
Qatar Airways has not published a full official award chart for Philippine Airlines redemptions, so pricing depends on distance and cabin. Travel sites that tested the new option found business-class prices starting at 110,000 Avios one way from Los Angeles to Manila, and 154,500 Avios one way from New York to Manila. Those same reports say taxes and fees look fairly reasonable, and that wide-open business class space could make this a useful sweet spot for long trips to the Philippines.
Earn 100,000 Hilton Points With New Travel Offer: Hilton Offers 3-Night Stay Plus 100,000 Points
That matters because flights to the Philippines can be tough to book with points, especially in premium cabins. This new setup gives travelers one more way to reach Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao, and other destinations without paying cash for the full fare. Qatar also says Philippine Airlines operates flights from those hubs to many places across the Philippines, Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
Qatar Airways also makes it easier to grow an Avios balance. Its Privilege Club pages say members can earn Avios through flights and partner activity, buy, gift, or transfer Avios, and even link a Visa or Mastercard to collect or spend Avios with partners. Qatar also allows linked Avios movement between Qatar Airways Privilege Club and British Airways Executive Club accounts.
