ISRO YUVIKA 2024: Enrollment, Date and Selection Procedure- The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has initiated a new program for schoolchildren. This program is known as the “Young Scientist Programme” or “YUva VIgyani Karyakram” The purpose of the program is to encourage students to study and conduct additional research on space science, space technology, and space application.

ISRO Eligibility Criteria for YUVIKA

Travel Expense Reimbursement Facility
ISRO will reimburse students for travel expenses incurred to participate in YUVIKA. However, there are a few essential factors to keep in mind:
- ISRO will only cover travel expenses for the selected student. It will not reimburse the travel expenses of the accompanying family member.
- The State Government or authorised transport will reimburse a student’s 2nd AC train or AC (including Volvo) bus fare from the closest Bus terminal or Railway Station to the reporting center and return.
- Even if the student did not travel by the 2nd AC (II AC Class) train, ISRO will only reimburse the utmost amount for the II AC train. For instance, you will be reimbursed for the cost of the II AC train even if you travel in the 1st AC class.
- In order to receive this amount, students must present the original ticket.
