JEE Main 2023 Eligibility: On April 6, the Bombay High Court will hear a petition challenging the engineering entrance exam JEE Main’s 75 percentile and top 20 percentile eligibility requirements. This material was provided by advocate Anubha Srivastava. He stated that the case was scheduled to be heard in the Bombay High Court on February 21, but that the court was unable to receive it. The court date has now been rescheduled for April 6. Students can anticipate the decision on this date.
In the petition, students requested that the 75 percent and top 20 percentile eligibility criteria for JEE Main be abolished or reduced to 50 percent.
Let us inform you that, due to a significant change, the rule of 75 percent points in the 12th before 2020 has been reinstated in JEE Main. Prior to Corona, admission to IIIT, NII, and CFTI schools required at least 75% in 12th grade. But in the year 2020 this condition was removed owing to Corona. However, it has been reinstated as of 2023. Students and parents spoke out against the JEE Main eligibility standards. The Union Ministry of Education decided to alter the JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria in response to the growing controversy. Following that, the revised guidelines stated that candidates must have at least 75 percentile marks in the 12th board exam or be among the best 20 percentile candidates in the respective board exam result.
