Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah highlights the need for scientific temperament in graduates

Scientific temperament in graduates: Monday in BENGALURU, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, urged University Vice Chancellors to ensure that graduates have a scientific temperament. He emphasised the ineffectiveness of graduates lacking scientific knowledge and rational thought. This discussion took place at the Vidhana Soudha (the Karnataka state assembly) in Bengaluru, during a meeting presided over by the Chief Minister and attended by Vice Chancellors of public universities and senior officials of the Higher Education Department.

“What is the use of graduates without scientific temperament and rational thought who leave universities loaded with ignorance? What purpose do they serve for the nation, the state, and the society?” he asked.
