Aligarh Muslim University to open in phased manner

Literary event mark the international conference: Through the auspices of the International Conference on “Post-Truth(s): Representations in Contemporary Literature and Cinema,” a two-day intellectual endeavour hosted by the Department of English, the Raleigh Literary Society, Aligarh Muslim University, held its second Spoken Word Poetry and Storytelling Competitions on November 28 and 29.

33 participants presented their literary works in English, Hindi, and Urdu at the literary event, which was held on the Department of Fine Arts’ lawns. The works touched on a variety of themes related to human life, such as stories of heroes and villains, resistance, truth, and falsity, as well as dystopian and enhanced realities. An open-theme portion gave a magical element of spontaneity and let the artists explore unexplored avenues for their artistic expression.

The programme was run by Ms. Sakina and Ms. Adhna, and the event judges were Prof. Samina Khan and Dr. Muneer A. Kuzhiyan.
