Judging students on basis of language, not talent, big injustice: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi proclaimed the establishment of the National Turmeric Board and Sammakka Sarakka Tribal University in Telangana.

This afternoon, following the inauguration and dedication of a number of development projects in Mahabubnagar, he stated that the board will provide assistance to all turmeric cultivators on all aspects of the Turmeric crop. In addition, he granted the Tribal University 900 billion rupees.

Indicating that infrastructure development will increase economic activity in the region, he stated that these infrastructure and development initiatives will increase employment opportunities and enhance people’s lives. Referring to the Food processing mega park, he stated that it is particularly beneficial to the residents of the districts of Hanumkonda, Warangal, Khammam, and Mahabubnagar. He laid the cornerstone and dedicated to the nation more than 13,500 billion rupees worth of additional development initiatives.

In addition, he inaugurated the New Railway line between Jakler-Krishna, constructed on the Munirabad-Mahabubnagar section, and the Hassan-Charlapally LPG pipeline project of HPCL, which cost 2,661 billion rupees.

Additionally, he inaugurated DEMU train service between Kachiguda-Raichur-Kachiguda and a four-lane highway from Suryapet to Khammam. In addition, he laid the cornerstone for the ‘Multi Product Pipeline’ between Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and Hyderabad. He placed the cornerstones for a number of other road construction projects totaling over 6,400 billion rupees. Additionally, he virtually inaugurated four Central University of Hyderabad buildings.

In his remarks, Union Minister Kishan Reddy stated that the federal government has invested 9 trillion rupees in Telangana’s development. Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan was among those present at the event.
