Prophet Muhammad’s life: The head of AMU’s Urdu Department, Professor Qamar ul Huda Faridi, emphasised the Prophet Muhammad’s entrance as a source of mercy for all people. Speaking during a two-day event held by the AMU Old Boys’ Association, Aligarh, to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s birth (Eid Milad un-Nabi), he emphasised the importance of teaching the next generation about the Prophet’s life.

The competitions for essay writing, Naat recitations, and speeches were featured at the event, giving students a chance to learn more about the Prophet’s teachings and personal history.

Professor Faridi praised the Prophet’s great character, calling his words pure, deeds honourable, lessons enlightening, and biography lovely. He emphasised how the Prophet embodied the admirable quality of modesty.

Workshop on research methodology begins at the Department of Islamic Studies, AMU

The AMU Old Boys Association secretary, Dr. Azam Mir Khan, welcomed everyone in attendance. He emphasised the Prophet’s greatest honour and advised people to adopt his moral principles, especially the virtues of patience and controlling one’s anger. Dr. Azam urged the community, students, and young people to uphold these ideals in order to foster peace, accept diversity, and advance civilised society.

The speaker of honour, Dr. Ahmed Mujtaba Siddiqui, emphasised in his speech that the Prophet’s life is the highest example of ethical behaviour. He emphasised the importance of the Quran in the modern world and recommended a deeper knowledge of it.

Mufti Muhammad Junaid and Syed Mazin Hussain Zaidi oversaw the event’s activities. The occasion was attended by AMUOBA post holders, dignitaries, students, instructors, and a broad audience from different schools in the Aligarh district.
