The Vice Chancellor Ajit Kumar Sinha of Ranchi University headed the meeting of CVS Core Committee at RU premises on Thursday, wherein several decisions were taken.
After reviewing the interview related to the predetermined vocational courses, it was proposed to be held on September 6, 2022. This interview will be conducted for the positions of Director Legal Studies, Director IMS, professor on contract in Legal Studies, Coordinator Placement Cell and Director School of Mass Communication.
The budget for the several vocational courses for 2022-23 was reviewed and in-principle consent was given for further action. These include Legal Studies, Performing Arts, RLSY College, IMS, MCA, School of Yoga, MSC Biotechnology, PPK College Bundu, KCB College Bedo, Marwari College, Department of Electronics and Communication.
The Vice-Chancellor was further authorized to nominate the University Representative for the Purchase Sale Committee under the Vocational Course. It was also decided in the meeting that a meeting of the directors, principals and coordinators of those courses which are running in deficit would be convened soon under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor so that these departments can be strengthened.
FA Devashish Goswami, Registrar Dr Mukund Chandra Mehta, Controller of Examinations Dr Ashish Jha, Finance Officer Dr Kumar A N Shahdev, Deputy Director Vocational Dr Smriti Singh, and Coordinator Finance Dr V K Deoghadiya were present at the meeting.
