Thrilling Victory for STS School in G-20 Cricket Open Tournament

G-20 Cricket Open Tournament: In the G-20 Cricket Open Tournament, STS School (Minto Circle), Aligarh Muslim University defeated the Department of Physical Education Cricket Academy by a score of 4 runs, taking home the winner’s trophy and title. Aligarh College of Education and Aligarh College of Engineering and Management coordinated the competition.

As they batted first, STS School got off to a confident start and amassed a respectable 128 runs in 14 overs. Master Arsheel scored 22 runs, while Master Daksh Pratap Singh scored 40. The opposition attempted to reach the objective but was unsuccessful by a margin of four runs in a tight struggle between the bat and ball.

For his exceptional effort, Master Amir Ali was named man of the match. In three overs, he took three wickets and gave up just ten runs.

Mr. Mohd Adnan Khan’s outstanding batting performance earned him the title of “Man of the Series.” In two innings, he amassed 52 runs and claimed eight wickets.

The success of STS School in the G-20 Cricket Open Tournament was a credit to their abilities and tenacity.

The excellent cricket players who had given honour to the school were recognised for their accomplishments by Mr. Faisal Nafis, Principal of STS School. He recognised the value of athletics in a student’s education since they foster self-control, leadership, and teamwork.

The players received medals, certificates, and the championship trophy from Mr. Nafis. Additionally, he commended Mr. Mohammad Asim, Mr. Mohd Adnan Khan, and Dr. Zeeshan Haider, the sports teachers, for their effective guidance of the kids.

Mr. Farhan Habib and Mr. Mohd Adnan Khan urged the pupils to provide their best performances.
