Tomorrow is the last date for GATE 2023 registration

If the ear is not visible in the photo then the gate form will be rejected. Not only this, even if one ear is visible in the photo, the form will be considered as rejected. Similarly, the form will be rejected even if the photo is worn wearing glasses or sunglasses or a cap.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is conducted by IIT Kanpur for admission to MTech from IITs. IIT Kanpur has also given strict instructions regarding photo and signature to the application in GATE. The application process has started from 30th August. 30 September is the last date for application. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from January 3, 2023. GATE will be conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2023, the result of which will be released on March 16.

50% relaxation in fees for female candidates

The application fee for the general candidates for GATE is Rs 1700. According to the booklet issued by IIT Kanpur, SC, ST and differently-abled candidates along with women candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 850. The application form fee is US$ 100 for candidates from Dhaka, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Male, Portluis and Thimphu and US$ 200 in Dubai and Singapore.

Two new courses added in gate

IIT Kanpur has added two new courses Geomatics Engineering and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in GATE. This year there will be an entrance exam for admission to 29 courses. Last year the entrance exam for 27 courses was held in GATE 2022. Candidates will get a lot of benefit from the new courses included in the course by IITs. Now students will not have to go out of IIT to do this course.
