Morgan Wallen To Sing Again: Morgan Wallen is anxious to return to the stage. The country artist disclosed in an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday that his doctor had cleared him to “talk and sing” again, weeks after he had announced he would be taking voice rest and postponing his tour.

The 29-year-old Wallen captioned a photo of himself on a boat in the water, “The doctor cleared me to talk and sing… we’re back.” The next performance is scheduled for June 22 in Chicago, but he has not yet announced the date.

Earlier in the day, he uploaded a photo of himself and his friend Eric Church on a boat. In the caption of the post, he wrote, “It’s Island Time.” According to the National Institute of Health, vocal fold trauma, which Wallen admitted to on May 9, “is caused by excessive and improper use of the voice.”

I’ll immediately get to the heart of the matter. The physicians at the Vanderbilt Voice Centre gave me some discouraging news yesterday. “After taking 10 days of vocal rest, I performed three shows in Florida last weekend, and by the third one, I felt terrible,” the “Me to Me” singer revealed in an Instagram video.

The following day, he stated, “Yesterday, I went in for a scope, and they informed me that I had injured my vocal cords and suffered vocal fold trauma. In accordance with their advice, I will take a six-week vocal vacation. Even though they did not wish for me to speak, they deemed this acceptable.

The ‘Whisky Glasses’ singer claimed he tore his LAT muscle and strained his vocal cords while performing. Wallen cancelled his six-week run of festival performances and his slot at the Academy of Country Music Awards in order to rest his voice.

According to a press release from Wallen’s representative, tickets for the original dates will be honoured for the rescheduled performances, and a 30-day refund window will be available once the new dates are confirmed.

The doctors assured me that I would recover completely if I followed their instructions to the letter. They warned that I could irreparably damage my voice if I continued singing despite their warnings. I felt compelled to make this decision for my professional destiny. Wallen responded, “It’s awful, and I despise you all.”

Then he said, “I’ll be better than ever when I return.” Four performances had to be cancelled prior to Wallen’s vocal recuperation. On April 23, minutes before his act was scheduled to begin in Oxford, Mississippi, he was compelled to cancel due to a loss of voice. The following evening, he cancelled his performances in Michigan, Illinois, and Nebraska for that week. Elvis Presley resumed performing in Florida on May 4, after taking some time off to recover his voice.
