Tearsmith: Nica, an orphan confined to four walls, wants to escape her horrible background. She hopes for a new family when Mr. and Mrs. Milligan adopt her. However, she has company. Another strange and troubled orphan, Rigel, joins her. Pain unites them despite their differences. As they adjust to their new life, they discover love, which both draws and frightens them.

Erin Doom’s debut best-selling novel Fabbricante di Lacrime inspired The Tearsmith. The book debuted in 2021 and topped the charts in 2022. Books have sold half a million copies. Erin’s second and third novels, The Way the Snow Falls (2022) and Stigma (2023), are bestsellers. Doom lives in Italy and studied law. The Tearsmith will premiere on Netflix on April 4, 2024.
