Deepak Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary, had requested permission from the Election Commission to declare the results of the civic elections due to the adoption of the Model Code of Conduct. It was decided to release the results after receiving the green light from the commission. The UP board will announce the results so soon for the first time in its 100-year history.
For the first time in thirty years, no complaints of paper leak, incorrect opening, or mass copying were received from examination centres during the 2023 board exams. Between March 18 and 31, a total of 3.19 crore answer sheets were evaluated at 258 centres across the state, with approximately 1.86 crore high school and 1.33 crore intermediate answer sheets evaluated.
