Click on “NEST Result 2020” option [link not yet activated]

Insert the login credentials

Submit and view your NEST result

NEST Marking Scheme

NEET 2020 exam included 70 multiple choice questions divided into five sections – General Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The total marks for NEST 2020 is 230.

NEST Result 2020: Cut off

General (UR):         95 percentile

Other Backward Classes (OBC):  90 percentile

Schedule Tribes (ST)/Schedule Caste (SC)/ Divyangjan:      75 percentile

 

About NEST

The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST is a compulsory online/computer based test for admission to the five year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Candidates should note that for all the sections except General section there will be some negative marking for wrong attempts by the candidates. The exact negative scoring is not specified by the exam conducting body.

Note: necessary certificates supporting eligibility criteria have to be furnished only at the time of admission. Offer of admission is subject to verification of all original certificates at the time of admission/counselling and availability of seats.
