The Vice Chancellor informed that the Maulana Azad Educational Foundation has given a grant of Rs 25 lakhs to the Centre for Promotion of Science, AMU while the Central Waqf Council provided a grant of Rs 7 lakh to the Residential Coaching Academy of the University.
ALIGARH: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is going to start a much sought-after course, M Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and intends to start courses in Cupping Therapy (Hijamah), Therapeutic Massage (Dalk) and Ilaj bil Ghiza (Diet Therapy) under the Centre for Professional Courses, and a committee has been formed to finalize its modalities.
This was approved by the Academic Council that met today under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor.
At the outset, the Vice Chancellor apprised the members about the situation prevailing in the university. He expressed satisfaction that university has been functioning normally.
