He held his birthday celebration at 4 a.m. so that his guests could hear the dawn chorus, which is when birds begin to sing at the start of a new day. The day has become a global celebration and is now observed in the United Kingdom, certain regions of Antarctica, and the Caribbean. You no longer need to be in the countryside to celebrate Dawn Chorus Day; cities also have their own songbirds.

The Wildlife Trust celebrates International Dawn Chorus Day, which is a wonderful opportunity for nature enthusiasts to gather at dawn to listen to birds singing to the rising sun.
