National Productive Business Civility Day is observed on June 13 annually. The holiday was founded in 2020 by Professor Vernet A. Joseph to increase awareness of the strength of productive business. Today, people from all over the world and a variety of industries engage in productive business practises and maximise their relationships, collaboration, and partnerships for enhanced economic growth and participation.
The background of National Productive Business Civility Day
In the mid-1700s, the Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain, resulting in a surge of inventiveness and the invention of the steam engine, which led to the overthrow of the status quo. Farmworkers and people from rural areas began to migrate to cities in pursuit of employment in mines and industries. In 1794, a few decades later, the cotton gin was devised. It resulted in a dramatic increase in cotton production and made the United States the export leader in cotton. The cotton harvester was one of the earliest examples of automation.
Even with its audacious beginning, World War I had a significant impact on productivity in 1914. The Great War had a substantial impact on industrial production and labour force. Later, during World War II, industrial development resumed, and the situation for the United States improved as the production of war materials increased and women entered the workforce.
In the 1990s, the global focus shifted to digital productivity. The production of new and remarkable technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), increased, and Google became the digital world’s leader within a brief time. Amazon Echo entered the market in 2014, providing us with the most pertinent information and making our lives simpler by integrating us into our daily routines. It was only the beginning for intelligent devices. Everything in our environment is now controlled by technology, which has become an integral part of our existence.
