World Youth Skills Day is annually observed on July 15. Since 2014, when the United Nations proclaimed its existence, it has been observed. The background of World Youth Skills Day

The United Nations was established on October 24, 1945, after its Charter was ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among other signatories. The organization’s mission has always been to preserve international peace and security, provide humanitarian aid, defend human rights, and uphold international law. It was established to replace the League of Nations, which disbanded prior to the Second World War.
