Mega Millions Jackpot: MEGA MILLIONS is a multi-state, multimillion-dollar jackpot game offered in 46 jurisdictions (including Florida) with a lottery. All MEGA MILLIONS member lotteries contribute a portion of their sales to a shared reward pool, allowing jackpots to reach hundreds of millions of dollars. The jackpot for this game begins at $20 million and runs over until all six numbers are matched. There are nine prize levels in MEGA MILLIONS, with lower-tier prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000,000 – and up to $5,000,000 with Megaplier®.
Ways To Play
Each Mega Millions® bet costs $2.00.
The player may select six numbers from two distinct pools of numbers – five unique numbers between 1 and 70 (the white balls) and one number between 1 and 25 (the gold Mega Ball) – or choose Easy Pick/Quick Pick. When you match all six winning numbers in a drawing, you win the reward.
The initial jackpot will vary based on sales and will be announced prior to each drawing until further notice.
Mega Millions offers a total of nine methods to win a prize, ranging from the jackpot to $2
What happens if the jackpot is won?
The Mega Millions annuity payout consists of one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments. Each subsequent payment is 5% greater than the prior one. This protects the lifestyle and purchasing power of victors during periods of inflation.

In certain jurisdictions, the Just the Jackpot promotion is available. Jackpot players will adore this innovative new wager type, which enables them to play solely for the jackpot. At a cost of $3, the participant will receive two chances to win only the jackpot. Tickets for the Jackpot are ineligible for all other prize levels. Visit the lottery’s website (links can be found on our “Where to Play” page) to determine if this option is available in your jurisdiction.
