Meta Connect 2023: The Quest headsets from Meta, by far the most well-known brand in augmented and virtual reality, are the most accessible and cost-effective entry point for most individuals into the VR realm.
It organises the Connect virtual conference every year to give us an update on its intentions for new hardware and software, and Meta Connect 2023 is quickly approaching. The information on how to view it and what to expect is provided here.
Meta Connect 2023 Date
This year’s Meta Connect won’t be a one-day event; rather, it will take place on September 27 and 28, 2023.
Although we don’t yet know the exact start times for its keynotes and presentations, we’ll update this item for you as soon as we learn them.
Users of the Blinkit app can now purchase the Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus
Streaming Platforms
There will be a few places where you can watch Meta Connect, albeit as it’s a Meta event, there won’t be an official stream on YouTube.
If you’d rather watch in VR, previous years have been aired on Facebook’s video viewer as well as through the Meta Horizon Worlds app on a Quest device.
Since the event is still a ways off, neither of these places has a live stream that we can connect to, but we’ll include them when they become online.
What To Expect From The Event?
Over the past few months, we already know the main event of this year’s Meta Connect: we’ll be getting a thorough, in-depth look at the Meta Quest 3.
That should entail not just a complete analysis of its specifications and features, but also the announcement of a firm release date (and possibly even a pre-order date to mark in your calendar).
We might even guess that pre-orders will go online during Connect if we were betting on it; we’ll see if that’s true or not!
There is still a lot of possibility for surprises with the Quest 3, even if we already know a lot about it, like how it will appear and how much it will cost ($500).
While we anticipate that the Quest 3 will receive a lot of attention during Meta Connect, we also anticipate that other topics will be discussed. The headset will be unveiled by Mark Zuckerberg during a keynote address with a number of other guests, and he will probably also provide other information.
We’ll learn a lot more about what the future holds for Meta developers as well as about upcoming tools, apps, and games.
