I genuinely care about the other cast members of that show. I simply cannot get enough exposure to them. However, the writers and producers of Star Trek: The Next Generation have given us Picard, a completely new character in an entirely new setting compared to The Next Generation.

Picard Season 3 Release Date
A new episode of Star Trek: Picard will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, 16 February 2023, marking the beginning of the show’s third and final season in the United States. The third season of Star Trek: Picard premieres on Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom on Friday, February 17, 2023, so fans will not have to wait long for new episodes.
With the introduction of Paramount+ in the United Kingdom, it was uncertain whether the new season would continue to air on Prime Video in the country.
However, the availability of new episodes on Prime Video has been assured. The second and third seasons were shot concurrently, with the third instalment initially intended to be the series finale (though executive producer Alex Kurtzman has said that this choice could be altered).

Picard Season 3: Cast

According to the official synopsis for season 3, a desperate message from a long-lost friend propels Starfleet legend Admiral Jean-Luc Picard into the most daring mission of his life, compelling him to assemble allies spanning multiple generations. In his final journey, he will confront his past and discover explosive new information that will alter the Federation’s fate.
Stewart told Den of Geek that one of the aspects of Captain Picard’s job on the Enterprise that he enjoyed the most was the frequency with which the unexpected occurred. I believe this piqued his interest significantly. Throughout Next Generation’s seven-year run, Picard was primarily motivated by the knowledge that he could still assist or defend those in need.
The canon introduction of the Enterprise-F spaceship, which has been a fan favourite since its debut in the Star Trek Online computer game, is especially exciting for longtime Star Trek fans. In an effort to set realistic expectations for the show’s upcoming fifth season, Matalas later told Trek Central, “I would advise viewers that the season does not take place aboard the Enterprise-F.” I will concede that it is vital, but this is not the season’s primary objective. Everyone is eagerly anticipating the release of Picard season 3.
