Gauri Vrat 2023: Gauri Vrat is the fast observed by Gujarati women. This Vrat is also known as the Jaya Parvati Vrat and the Morakat Vrat. Other than Gujrat, it is worshipped in the western regions of the country. Particularly observed by unmarried women, the fast lasts for five days. Some women observe the Vrat for between five and eleven years. Fasting is observed by unmarried women to pursue a good husband.
