Gulkand or rose petal jam is nothing but the sweet preserve of rose petals and it is an ayurvedic medicine.

It is an Indian traditional recipe used for skin, constipation during pregnancy and kids, acidity, gastritis, ulcer, indigestion, dysmenorrhea, acne, foul body odor, palpitation, hypertension, nosebleed, and stress. Gulkand is thus known to treat many health issues and is prepared from fresh rose petals and sugar. Gulkand is the best medicine for the following diseases.

CONSTIPATION:

Gulkand is best known for its treatment in mild to moderate constipation. Women can take gulkand during pregnancy because it is considered to be safer. In India, it is widely used during pregnancy and Gulkand is a natural remedy for kid’s constipation. By taking gulkand for several days, it will cure constipation.

HEARTBURN AND GASTRITIS:

By the regular intake of gulkand, it averts the sunburn or sun poisoning which may occur commonly in the summer season. In addition to this, it reduces the impact of an excess of heat on the body.

On the whole, Gulkand is good for your health and treats most of the health issues. The only disadvantage is for diabetes patients. It is rich in sugar content and so it can increase the blood sugar level. So, be careful before eating gulkand.
