The symptoms of a concussion can last up to two weeks and include mood changes and peculiar emotional displays.
The purpose of National Concussion Awareness Day is to provide a forum for healthcare professionals, carers, and concussion victims to discuss this issue openly. The objective is also to increase the dissemination of information about the case in order to educate the general public.
