Sunday’s emergency response to a fatal boating incident at Echo Reservoir was described by a person who witnessed it. According to a Utah State Parks representative, Walter Greer, 3, of Salt Lake City was killed after falling from a moving watercraft and being struck by a propeller.
According to the investigators, he was wearing a life vest and no misconduct was suspected. They claimed that neither narcotics nor alcohol were involved, and that the boaters were water skiing at the time.

“I had asked one of them if this was all for them, and they said yes, and they were trying to take it all in,” he explained. “I remember saying, ‘I’m so sorry for your loss.'”
Greer’s family claimed that he was out on the lake with his parents, two sisters, and friends when he fell off the boat, struck the propeller, and died.
They had recently emerged from the lake and their hair was damp. Bear observed Greer’s family and remarked, “They appeared to be trying to take everything in.” He claimed that vacationers fled the lake as soon as the scene became ominous.
