“Angus Cloud died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and in what is ruled as an accidental overdose,” a coroner’s representative told CNN on Thursday. “The combination of drugs, which also included benzodiazepine, caused acute intoxication in Angus.”

Cloud’s breakout performance was as Fezco, a kind-hearted heroin dealer who loved deeply for Rue in the 2019 movie “Euphoria,” which starred Zendaya. In an interview with iD in March, the Oakland native explained how a casting director discovered him on the streets of Brooklyn.

“I definitely thought it could be some kind of scam,” he said with a chuckle. “They then invited me back in and explained the function to me; at that point, everything made more sense. because, in my head, they stopped me because I appeared to have the potential to be a star? I respond, “No, it’s because I appear to be a drug dealer.”

Cloud acknowledged that when “Euphoria” gained popularity, he was surprised by his own success.

“The difference between me and everyone else who’s famous it’s that they were trying to go get famous, for the most part,” he said to the outlet. They were putting in a lot of effort and certain that they would succeed. It was simply too fantastic of an opportunity for me to pass up. I didn’t expect things to progress this far.

Cloud is listed as a cast member of a future thriller from Universal Pictures that has no title. Additionally, he co-stars in the Oakland-based drama “Freaky Tales,” which was released in January, with Pedro Pascal.
