Despite the driver’s efforts to take evasive action, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle whirled, flipped, and came to rest in the median. In the meantime, the vehicle veered off the road, flips, and crashes into multiple trees. The impact caused the truck’s dirt cargo to spill out onto the surrounding area.
In the collision, the 39-year-old driver of the vehicle, who is also from Ocala, sustained minor injuries. As is standard procedure, the Florida Highway Patrol does not reveal the identities of accident victims.
This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the significance of travelling safely and remaining vigilant on the roads. The FHP will continue its investigation to ascertain the collision’s exact cause. Our sympathies and condolences are with the family and friends impacted by this tragic loss.
