Get Ready to Rock at the Rock Island County Fair in East Moline: The Rock Island County Fair is quickly approaching, so corn dogs, music and monster vehicles will soon be available! From Tuesday, July 18 through Saturday, July 22, admission to the fair is free each day before 8 p.m., from Tuesday, July 18 through Saturday, July 22.

Every evening at 7 p.m. during the fair week, the grandstand will be the site of all the action. The New Windsor Drill Team will be followed by a demolition contest, truck pull and tractor pull on Saturday, and the T&C Rodeo will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Full Throttle Monster Truck Show airs on Tuesday and Friday evenings and features thrilling monster truck manoeuvres by teams such as Dirt Crew, Cattywampus, Dozer, and Hoosier Daddy. Every evening, the grandstand performances commence at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday evening at 9 p.m., native of Quad City and special guest Tyson Schulte will perform in the entertainment pavilion. In addition to the funfair and livestock displays, the fairgrounds also feature Mike the Magician, the Calf Corner Birthing Centre and DJ Fella. Schulte has won the Illinois State Fair karaoke competition twice and has performed in front of Toby Keith and Brooks & Dunn.

Tickets

Before 8:00, admission to the exhibition is free. After that time, adults pay $5 to access, while children under 12 are admitted free of charge.

Parking

  • You may park at the Grandstands at 4200 Archer Drive in East Moline for $5 per day or $25 per week.
  • Additionally, parking is complimentary at select locations outside the fairgrounds.
  • Funfair attractions
  • At the CDAC Carnival Trailer on the fairgrounds, amusement tickets can be purchased for $1.25 each or for $20 for a book of twenty.
  • A wristband that grants access to all funfair attractions is available for $25. Tuesdays from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., wristbands are valid.
  • Food

Although you may enjoy the fair’s attractions and performances, we all know that you’re only there for the cuisine. The vendors can be found at the concession stands below.
