We’re sorry to say that he died too soon on August 28, 2023, at the young age of 29. Rodney and Linda Gerjets loved their son Greg very much, and his death has left a hole that can never be filled.

Greg was a great musician and athlete at Mt. Hope High School. Because he loved music, he became the Drum Line Captain of the Marching Band, which was a great way to show off his skills and leadership.

When he played in the Symphonic Concert Band, he showed how versatile he was as a musician and left a lasting mark on the school’s musical scene.

Greg was incredibly athletic and played on the varsity baseball and soccer teams. His energy, skills, and dedication to the team inspired his teammates, and he left the field with a sense of power and unity that will last.

Greg went to Bristol Community College and Rhode Island College after high school to study criminal justice. He did well in school because he wanted to protect and help his community.

People will always remember Greg Gerjets for his ability to bring people together, his positive outlook, and his unwavering commitment to his community. His friends, family, and everyone else he helped with his kindness and honesty will miss him a lot.

A Biography of Greg Gerjets

Greg inspired his friends and made an impression that will last by giving his time and talent to school musical activities.

Roger and Linda Gerjets loved their son Greg very much. He was born in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 13, 1993. Everyone knew how much he loved music and sports, and he made important contributions to both throughout his life.

Greg graduated from Mt. Hope High School in 2011. He was in the Spring Concert Band and the Symphonic Band and was in charge of the drum line for band.

What caused Greg Gerjet’s death?

Even though no one knows what caused Greg’s untimely death, the love and grief shown by his community and coworkers shows how much he accomplished. He left behind a legacy of love, generosity, and care for both people and animals.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects during visiting hours. Anyone can go to Connors Funeral Home in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. to honor Greg’s life and comfort his family.

A Christian Burial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Bristol on September 5, 2023, at 10 a.m. Greg’s family, friends, and coworkers will gather on this sad day to remember him and think about his life. The funeral will be kept private because the family has asked for privacy during this hard time.

In honor of Greg, donations can be made to the Bristol Fire Department Benevolent Association Charitable Trust. He also shows his dedication to helping animals in need by giving money to the Potter League and the Bristol Animal Shelter.
