Hamilton Park Assault Leaves Man in Critical Condition: A man is in critical condition following a “serious” assault in a park in Hamilton.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning in Woodlands Park, located at 501 Barton Street, just east of Wentworth Street North, according to the Hamilton Police Service.
Saturday, shortly before noon, officers responded to the park and discovered a 37-year-old man without vital signs.
They reported that the man was rushed to the hospital, underwent emergency surgery, and remains in critical condition.
Investigators are searching for an undetermined number of suspects and are requesting that any witnesses come forward.
Additionally, they are requesting that residents, businesses, and vehicles with security cameras in the area examine their footage between 11:30 a.m. and noon for “suspicious activity in relation to this assault.”
