Iowa Family Searches for Son’s Missing Ashes: A couple from Iowa that vacationed in Florida last month is seeking a unique plush animal. Liz Atkinson and her husband, Sebastiaan, and son were visiting Florida’s beaches and amusement parks when they lost the plastic animal, Bruce, somewhere along the road.
Atkinson recalled Sebastián cradling her son, despite the fact that her husband exited the boat with him and buckled him first. A part of me wonders if it fell out in the Disney Springs parking lot at the orange entrance and we were unaware.
The family had to return home, but not before posting a Facebook request for assistance. The task is dear to their souls not because of Bruce’s adorable and cuddly exterior, but because of his history and what he possesses.

Bruce was present for every hospitalisation. Innumerable to enumerate. Atkinson added that he has accompanied my son during each treatment. “My son, who is still alive, clings to Bruce and sobs when he misses his brother.”
A few days before his eighth birthday, Atkinson’s other son, Gabryel, passed away due to numerous medical complications. The family took the stuffed animal to Disney in his honour, as he had always desired to go, and dispersed some of his ashes there.
Reportedly, hundreds of individuals have recently messaged Atkinson about locating Bruce. People I didn’t even know volunteered, “We’ll look for you.” We have no clue. People have spent their entire days off following in my footsteps, talking to people, and trying to get out there, so hopefully he will return home, wherever he may be, Atkinson said.
On security footage from the Cocoa Beach Marina, Sebastyan, Atkinson’s son, was seen escorting Bruce to the family car. This indicates that he reached the Disney Springs region, but Atkinson contends it is unclear what transpired thereafter. The family visited Planet Hollywood and the LEGO store prior to their vacation in Kissimmee.
