Ashish Mishra, the son of Union Home Minister Ajay Mishra, was denied bail today by the Allahabad High Court in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.
After the Supreme Court reversed a bail decision made by the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on February 10, Ashish Mishra asked for new bail. The Supreme Court then instructed the high court to rule on his bail request after giving the victim’s side a fair chance to present its case.
