Logan Paul's Alleged Crypto Videogame Scam

Logan Paul’s Alleged Crypto Videogame Scam: Luke Paul Paul, one of the most influential individuals in the world, is a one-man brand whose influence spans multiple industries, including podcasts, sugar water, and wrestling. A crypto-based videogame that promised the Earth (or, at the very least, that it would exist), made millions of dollars, and now appears to be a fraud has overshadowed one of Paul’s more shady recent activities. Recently, he and fellow influencer KSI earned a major mainstream hit with their endorsement of Prime energy drink.

In January of this year, investigative journalist CoffeeZilla uncovered the entire CryptoZoo scam, or, as we put it at the time, Logan Paul did too many dubious things to fit in this title. As a result of the extensive investigation into this plan, Paul threatened to sue the journalist before changing his mind (or being persuaded to do so), apologising, and acknowledging guilt prior to making reimbursements.

“My initial response to Coffee’s series was expunged. It was hasty and misaligned with the true issue at hand, so I apologised by calling him today… I appreciate his bringing this to light. In the near future, I will accept responsibility, offer an apology, and present a solution.”

This proposal stipulated that $1.8 million of Paul’s own money would be used to refund CryptoZoo investors through a system in which any crypto assets purchased from the game would be repurchased at a predetermined price. Is it not true that everything ends well?

After six months, it no longer appears to be the case. Paul has moved on to his most lucrative endeavours, namely making public appearances to promote Prime, and has decided to act as if the CryptoZoo incident never occurred. The wealthy accomplish this by announcing their benevolent intentions through a legal firm.

Yes! You could not make up this information. Coffeezilla, the journalist who investigated CryptoZoo and forced Paul to guarantee refunds, has now taken a second look and, in response to Paul’s previous request that he make direct contact to inquire about the refunds’ status, has done so multiple times. Before receiving a response from the law firm defending Paul in this case on the fourth attempt, the first three approaches were disregarded.

“We stand for Logan Paul. Mr. Paul has informed us of your outreach regarding the status of the egg buyback at CryptoZoo. Mr. Paul continues to be committed to this procedure. We are collaborating with Mr. Paul to determine the optimal means of achieving this objective.

So, Paul announced a return method that, in the grand scheme of things, appears to be relatively straightforward. Buyback schemes are prevalent, Paul has the cash (estimated net worth: $50-$100 million), and it becomes obvious that CryptoZoo’s ‘vision’ will never be realised.

Now, it appears that Paul expects that enough time has passed that he can move on without the refunds and hire a law firm to obstruct any bothersome inquiries. I’ve asked them about refunds and will keep you posted if I hear back from them.

The number of controversies has been increased by one. Paul’s success has occurred despite a number of incidents that could have derailed other people’s careers, including a 2017 video that disclosed the body of a person who had presumably committed suicide in Japan’s Aokigahara forest (Paul eventually apologised). In fact, CrytpoZoo is not the influencer’s first questionable cryptocurrency connection; he previously promoted the delisted cryptocurrency Dink Doink.

The CryptoZoo website is still accessible, despite “undergoing upgrades to the ecosystem’s core infrastructure.” I am confident that it will occur soon. Even though its visage appears to want to wash its hands of the entire situation, the market remains open.
