Despite her previous losses, the challenger in the women’s strawweight division is more determined than ever to win on Saturday. Dern can’t wait to return to the octagon and deliver a decisive victory after everything that has transpired.

“I’ve been working all camp. It’s been so chaotic; my divorce has been crazy, Mackenzie Dern said at the UFC 73 media day in Las Vegas. “Basically everything. My coach [Jason] Parillo was out of town for one month with Luke [Rockhold] for his bare-knuckle fight. This course provided me with a vision of combat I’ve never had before.”
