Maleesa Mooney Cause of Death: More information has emerged regarding the untimely demise of Maleesa Mooney. Approximately one month after her remains were discovered in her Los Angeles condominium, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner affirmed that the 31-year-old had succumbed to homicidal violence. In her case file, “other significant conditions” is also listed as the cause of death.

Maleesa, a real estate agent and model, reportedly passed away two months into her pregnancy, as reported by her sister, the Guyanese vocalist Jourdin Pauline. “It hurts to even contemplate what my sister endured,” Jourdin told KTLA on October 4. “I cannot even begin to imagine it.”

As per the Los Angeles Police Department, at approximately 3:54 p.m. on September 12, officers were dispatched to Maleesa’s downtown residence to conduct a welfare check. According to a previous statement by Maleesa’s cousin, Bailey Babb, family members contacted law enforcement in an effort to express their apprehension for her welfare when she abruptly ceased all communication.

Bailey stated to KTLA last month, “We knew something was amiss the moment a week passed.” Because each of us has a unique connection with Maleesa, we immediately recognized that something was amiss when her messages failed to arrive.

No arrests have been made as of yet, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Maleesa’s family and friends are currently “fighting for justice,” according to a GoFundMe page established in support of her mother, Margaret McDonald. “Despite the vicious, senseless, and heinous manner in which she was taken,” the fundraising page read, “we wish to commemorate Maleesa in all the magnificent ways in which God divinely designed her.”

Further, the message stated, “Maleesa possessed an extraordinarily kind and magnanimous disposition. Her ability to see the best in others illuminated each room she entered. “In addition to being stunning, Maleesa possessed one of the most benevolent and thoughtful hearts you will ever encounter.”

Two days subsequent to the demise of fellow model Nichole Coats, Mooney’s remains were discovered and recovered from her residence situated in downtown Los Angeles.
