Maxwell Frost Takes Center Stage: Rep. Maxwell Frost will speak at the “Freedom to Learn” rally at the most significant annual NEA Today meeting in Orlando on Wednesday. The rally is in response to recent assaults on public education, such as efforts to ban books, restrict LGBTQ+ rights, and teach creationism in schools.

Frost, as a member of the House Education and Labour Committee, is a staunch supporter of public education. He has spoken out against privatisation and defunding of public education. He has also introduced legislation to preserve the right to education of students.

What Frost Said About Joining the NEA Meeting Today?

Frost stated in a statement, “I am honoured to participate in the NEA Today meeting and to advocate for public education. Our educational institutions are under attack, but we will not yield. We will fight to secure the right of our students to learn and ensure that all children have access to a quality education.”

Who Is Responsible for Organising the “Freedom to Learn” Rally?

The greatest teachers’ union in the United States, the National Education Association (NEA), is organising the “Freedom to Learn” rally. It is anticipated that thousands of educators from across the nation will attend the rally.

Who Will Be in Attendance at the Rally?

In addition to Frost, NEA President Becky Pringle, Florida NEA President Andrew Spar, and Florida State Senator Shevy Jones will speak at the rally.

The rally is a component of the NEA’s larger endeavour to defend public education. Additionally, the NEA has launched a campaign titled “Defend Public Education” to raise awareness of attacks on public education and mobilise educators to take action.

The “Freedom to Learn” rally serves as a reminder that the public education system is under assault. However, it also serves as a reminder that educators are fighting back. Together, we can defend public education and guarantee that every child has access to a quality education.

This Personal Information is immediately deleted once you delete the App, except to the extent it is necessary to store the same under applicable laws. Further, we have implemented commercially reasonable physical, managerial, operational and technical security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration and to preserve the security of the Personal Information in our care.Finally, this information is used strictly in line with our business purposes.
  • (2.4.) You understand that once You leave Our servers, use of any information You provide shall be governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site used by You.
3. Disclosure of Personal Information
    • (3.1.) We do not disclose Your Personal Information to any third parties other than as may be required by us, Eduvast’s affiliates, partners, trusted business networks, in compliance with our Privacy Policy for the purpose of moderating the content of the Website, enhancing Your user experience, providing You localised content and to enable Us and Our partners to provide You with targeted information which may be of benefit to you.

Cookies help Us to identify information relating Your activities and to retain information relating to Your preferences and history on the App.
