No trash pickup on Thanksgiving: According to a statement from City Hall, the waste management business hired to collect within Peoria’s city limits would not pick up trash, yard debris or recycling on Thanksgiving.
According to Nick McMillion, a spokesman for the city’s Public Works Department, the timetable adjustment will cause a one-day delay in services.
