On I-70 in Illinois, a Greyhound bus accident kills three people and injures fourteen more

On I-70 in Illinois: Wednesday orning, three people were murdered and fourteen others were injured when a Greyhound bus crashed near Highland, Illinois. The Illinois State Police told News 4 that just before 2 a.m., a Greyhound bus struck three semi-trucks that were stopped at the off-ramp of a rest stop on westbound I-70.

According to officials quoted by News 4, the Greyhound bus was en route to St. Louis from Indianapolis. According to News 4, a semi-truck driver was awakened when the rear driver’s side of his vehicle was struck. According to him, he awoke “in the air” and presumed it had all been a dream.

When he realised what had occurred, he assisted in the disembarkation of passengers before the arrival of emergency personnel. Ten individuals from the bus were transported promptly to nearby hospitals, while four were airlifted. According to official reports, nobody was injured in the semis.
