On I-70 in Illinois: Wednesday orning, three people were murdered and fourteen others were injured when a Greyhound bus crashed near Highland, Illinois. The Illinois State Police told News 4 that just before 2 a.m., a Greyhound bus struck three semi-trucks that were stopped at the off-ramp of a rest stop on westbound I-70.
According to officials quoted by News 4, the Greyhound bus was en route to St. Louis from Indianapolis. According to News 4, a semi-truck driver was awakened when the rear driver’s side of his vehicle was struck. According to him, he awoke “in the air” and presumed it had all been a dream.
