Before ‘Perfect Match,’ did Kariselle and Joey date?
The two ultimately met after Joey’s casting on The Circle was announced. Joey mentioned in the pilot episode of Perfect Match that Kariselle had sent him a direct message (DM) and that he was immediately attracted to her.
While they enjoyed their time together in Los Angeles, Joey ultimately decided he was not ready for a serious relationship. According to Kariselle, they ultimately rekindled their friendship after a period of silence.

What Happened on Perfect Match Between Kariselle and Joey?
In one of the final episodes of Perfect Match, Joey popped the question to Kariselle, and they ended the series engaged. In the second season, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level.
Kariselle was initially hesitant to give Joey a second opportunity after their failed relationship off-screen, and she even considered dating Too Hot to Handle’s Chase DeMoor.
But ultimately, she chose Joey, and they remained a couple until the very end of the series. Joey’s admission that he was still caught up on an ex-girlfriend during a difficult compatibility challenge was just the beginning of the couple’s difficulties, but after that they were able to sail through the subsequent episodes.
They called Joey’s mother to announce their engagement, and despite losing the ultimate prize to fellow Perfect Match contestants Georgia Hassarati and Dom Gabriel, they appeared to end the season exceedingly happy.
