18 years old Antwain Ulmer is a Cheverly, Maryland, resident. The 18-year-old is accused of killing Charles Sullivan, a 30-year-old resident of Northeast D.C., with intent to kill while carrying a weapon and is facing significant charges.
On July 9, around 12:25 a.m., the D.C. police responded to reports of shooting in the 700 block of Kenilworth Avenue NE. Charles Sullivan, a 30-year-old resident of Southeast Washington, was found dead when they got there. Tragically, he had been shot to death. The incident prompted the authorities to open an early investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the gunshot and determine who was at fault.
According to a department press release, Ulmer made the decision to waive his right to a hearing before extradition. As a result, he was quickly taken into district custody.
