1112 Stimulus Payment Eligibility: The Property Tax, Rent, and Heat (PTC) Rebate program helps Colorado residents who lived in the state for the entire year of 2023, from January 1 to December 31.
This program is made to support low-income people by giving them rebates to help cover rent, property taxes, and heating costs. It’s a valuable way to ease the financial burden for those who qualify.
Married couples filing jointly must earn less than $24,345 in order to be eligible for this rebate, while single filers must have an annual total income of less than $18,026.
Those who satisfy specific requirements as of December 31, 2023, are eligible for the PTC rebate. These comprise inhabitants who are 65 years of age or older and surviving spouses who are 58 years of age or older.

For survivors to get benefits, they can’t have been divorced before the veteran’s death. People of any age who are medically unable to do much work and are qualified for full disability benefits for the whole year of 2023 can also apply.
Those who have paid rent, property taxes, or heating expenses during the qualifying period are eligible to apply. The fact that applicants were not listed as dependents on another person’s federal tax return is also crucial.
The official Colorado Department of Revenue website states, “Anyone who has applied for the rebate for the last two years will be able to file the application electronically through our free and secure Revenue Online(opens in new window) service.”
“Click “Submit a PTC Rebate Application.” When filing the application in Revenue Online, supporting documents must be sent as electronic attachments.
For efficient processing of the rebate application, the address on both the application and the applicant’s driver’s license or state ID must match. If the applicant does not have a Social Security number, additional documentation can be provided to complete the process.
Applications submitted by September 10, 2024, will result in payments starting in October 2024, while those completed by December 10, 2024, will begin receiving payouts in January 2025.
