DU UG Admission 2023: Over 65000 seats filled, 5100 remains vacant

DU UG Admission 2023: The admissions process for Delhi University Undergraduate, DU UG 2023, is currently active. More than 65,900 of the total 71,000 undergraduate seats have been filled as of August 26, 2023.

The University of Delhi (DU) conducted three stages of undergraduate admissions counselling. During the concluding phase of the Common Seat Allocation System, CSAS Round 3, seats were allocated to a total of 24,178 candidates. The deadline for accepting seats designated during the third round of counselling was August 24, 2023.

It is anticipated that the University of Delhi will conduct a spot round to complete the remaining seats. An earlier announcement states, “The University may announce additional rounds of counselling, if any seats become vacant.” To date, there has been no official statement regarding this matter.

Undergraduate classes for Semesters I, III, V, and VII of the new academic year 2023-2024 began on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
