Air France-KLM Flying Blue cardholders can now earn up to 3X miles on rent payments through Bilt, though a 3% processing fee still applies to eligible transactions.
Air France-KLM Flying Blue Benefits: Air France-KLM Flying Blue is already a favorite for many travelers because of its monthly Promo Rewards. Now there is another sweet spot for cardholders. Starting May 19, 2026, people with the Air France KLM Visa Signature® Credit Card can earn extra Flying Blue miles when they pay rent through Bilt. The card details were independently gathered and were not reviewed by the card issuer.
To get the rewards, the card must be added to the Bilt Wallet. Then the rent payment has to be made through the Bilt process with the Flying Blue card chosen as the payment method. That setup can earn 3 Flying Blue miles per dollar on up to $50,000 in rent each year. After that, the rate drops to 1.5 miles per dollar on any rent above that yearly cap.
Bilt founder and CEO Ankur Jain said via press release, “Rent is the single biggest expense in so many people’s lives, and the whole foundation of Bilt is that it shouldn’t just be money out the door. We built Bilt to be the membership for where you live, bringing the kind of rewards and hospitality you’d expect from the world’s best travel programs straight to your front door. Expanding this partnership with Flying Blue means Air France KLM cardholders can now earn miles on rent even faster than before.”
Flying Blue’s Benjamin Lipsey also said in the press release, “We’re always focused on offering the very best products, services, and rewards to our members. That’s why Bilt is such a natural fit — its innovative approach to turning everyday expenses into meaningful rewards aligns perfectly with our mission. Expanding our partnership to bring accelerated Flying Blue Miles to rent payments made through Bilt allows us to deliver even more value, making it easier for members to earn rewards in ways that truly fit their lives.”
New Qatar-Philippine Airlines Partnership Gives Travelers More Asia Award Options
There is one catch. Paying rent through Bilt with the Flying Blue card comes with a 3% fee. TPG’s May 2026 valuation puts a Flying Blue mile at about 1.3 cents. At the full 3 miles per dollar rate, the rewards value can roughly balance out that fee. But once the earning rate falls to 1.5 miles per dollar, the math does not look as strong.
There are also other ways to earn extra miles on rent through Bilt with some cobranded cards, including Alaska and United cards, though the 3% fee still applies there too. The one clean way to skip that fee is to use a Bilt credit card for rent payments instead.
