Essay competition: In an essay contest on the “Significance of Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts in the present scenario” that was held by the STS School, Aligarh Muslim campus, as a part of the ongoing Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in the campus, Naitik Upadhyay (STS School) took home the top honour.
The second prize went to Lipi Lavanya Bhardwaj from AMU Girls’ School and Shivani Yadav from ABK High School-Girls, while the third prize was split between Manya Gupta from STS School and Mohammad Suhail from Ahmadi School.
The school principal, Mr. Faisal Nafees, congratulated the winners and recognised the efforts of other competitors while recalling Mahatma Gandhi as a fighter against all forms of exploitation and injustice.
