Palestinians executed by Hamas for ‘aiding Israel’; Tensions simmer in Gaza

Gaza’s ruling Hamas Islamists said that they executed 5 Palestinians, including 2 under espionage charges. The Hamas’s interion ministry said that the two executed Palestinians were ‘collaborating with Israel’ and providing them information. Human Rights groups have condemned the capital punishment and urged both Hamas and the Palestinian government to end the practice.
